Broens Gadekøkken

Street food market · Strandgade 95, Christianshavn

10 min south, same street Everyone picks their own No booking needed Communal harbour tables 10+ food stalls Open until ~21:00

Broens Gadekøkken sits at the Christianshavn foot of the Inderhavnsbroen, finish the canal walk at Krøyers Plads and the market is right there. A rotating lineup of food stalls: burgers, tacos, fish and chips, smørrebrød, gyros, pizza. Grab food from different stalls and find a communal table on the water’s edge.

No booking, no set menu, no group decisions beyond what each person wants. The harbour setting does the rest. Open until around 21:00.

What’s worth ordering

The stall lineup rotates but fish and chips and burgers are reliably present. For a pescatarian: the fish stalls are usually the strongest. For the kids: almost always a pizza or taco option. Grab a Danish craft beer or soft drink from the bar stall. Eat at the water-facing tables if any are free, the harbour view as the sun drops is the point.
